Ronin Artisanal Sake

Ronin Sake draws from the 18th century event known as the “Ako Incident”. It is also known as “Chushingura”, the title given to fictionalized accounts of the historical event, such as the film The Loyal 47 Ronin. The artwork borrows from woodblock prints by Kuniyoshi (1847) and is also inspired by the work of Japanese graphic designer Tadanori Yokoo. 3D renderings and graphics were created by me in Adobe Photoshop and Dimensions.
